When producing a photo book of a journey or holiday, it's handy to be able to include maps showing the route you took and/or the locations of the photographs. Copyright-free open source mapping is widely available on the internet, but this is not immediately suitable for print reproduction due to resolution issues. This tutorial will discuss ways of incorporating maps into photo books and how to show the route taken, either plotted manually or recorded by a smartphone or other GPS device.
The second half of the evening will include a brief introduction to Pictures To Exe (PTE), including how to download the free version. It will cover the key points in making your first AV (audio-visual) slide show.
